

Without exception, organisations will say that their levels of communication need to improve. Well, if everyone acknowledges this, why don't they do anything about it? Communication is much more than having an intranet site or a quarterly newsletter; it is about embracing the different forms of media and using them all appropriately to exchange relevant organisational information. Often, we find that too many words are used - the adage 'less is more' certainly applies when considering the content.
Remember that 90% of communication is non-verbal. Does your body language match your words? Your audience will notice!
Your audiences will take away only about 30% of your information - so be clear what you want in that 30% and focus on it.
